Hey Cubs.  This week is Fa-la-la-la Finals Week!  Make sure to dress up for the last week of the semester!

Today is Ugly Sweater Day!  Come out at lunch for the annual Ugly Sweater Fashion Show and help choose the winner!
Tomorrow is Christmas Character Day… dust off your elf costume and bring out your Santa hats.
Friday is the Boys’ Basketball Rally and our first ever #FLANNELFRIDAY. 

Then come out and watch our boys play in their home tournament.

Canned Food Drive:  Cub Connection is collecting nonperishable canned food and tomorrow is the last day to drop off any donations to room 211 or 212 and remember all donations go to help those in need.

Seniors: Reminder that there is an important Sober Grad Meeting TONIGHT at 6:00pm in the Cafeteria!!!  IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT WE HAVE AS MANY SENIORS AND PARENTS THERE FOR THIS MEETING!

Attention Students: Wes Camp is coming soon and we need volunteers! If you’re at least 16 years old and have a 2.0 GPA, please apply. Applications are available in the Go Center.

Attention Seniors: Simpson's FREE application for Fall 2017 is open now until Dec. 15th! They are already accepting students for the Fall semester and have begun working on financial aid awarding. Please visit simpsonu.edu/apply to start your FREE application!

Cub Connection: Cub Connection will be closed this Friday, December 16th for training. We apologize for any inconvenience and wish you happy holidays.

Students: You will be hearing music play throughout the campus 30 seconds before the tardy bell rings on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. The goal is to give you a 30 second warning before the tardy bell rings. Hopefully this will reduce the number of tardies we accumulate as a campus. So, when you hear the music please get to class.

Sports Results
Soccer-Anderson took 3rd place this weekend at the Red Bluff Holiday Classic Soccer Tourney. On Friday the Cubs beat Los Molinos High 6-0 with five different players scoring.  Anderson lost to West Valley 1-2 putting them in Saturday afternoon's consolation game against Paradise High. The Cubs soundly defeated Paradise 5-2 with four different players scoring. The Cubs travel to Enterprise on Monday and Shasta on Wednesday to wrap up their pre-season matches.

JV Boys Basketball: Congratulations to the JV Boys Basketball team for going 3-0 at the Central Valley “Lehigh” Tournament and taking 3rd place. Vaipou Leota and Aaron Dagneau were selected to the All-Tournament Team.

Frosh Girls Basketball: Freshmen girls finished 4th in the Nothing But Net tourney. Beat Central Valley 45-3

JV Girls Basektball: JV girls finished 2nd in the UPrep tourney after a hard fought battle in the championship against Lassen that went into overtime, final score was 44-41.

Frosh Boys Basketball: The freshmen boys’ basketball team beat Pleasant Valley and Foothill en route to their victory over Red Bluff in the championship game.  It is true that teamwork makes the dream work.

Ski/Snowboard Club:  The first trip is scheduled for December 17th, please stop by the student store or see Mrs. Pleitez in room 126 to pick up paperwork, paperwork is Due with payment by TODAY. Only the first 8 students signed up with money paid will be able to attend.

Tomorrow is Snow Day.  Bring your mittens and scarfs and get ready for a chilly time!
